Last night I made some fantastic supper, if I can say that. It was our first sit down dinner since we moved into the house. I was feeling a little spontaneous, as the meal was winding down. I suggested to Ellie that we go for a little bike ride to the lake. She agreed, so we piled the boys into the bike trailer. We put on our helmets and turned on our flashing red lights and took off down the hill toward the lake. The boys were screaming as we zoomed down the hill. Ahhhhhhhh! We came up to Highway 42 and stopped. We looked both ways and crossed over to a nice grassy park with some nice bench seating. The sun had set already, but a nice orange glow was still very present. We didnt stop to take photos. We were just present in the moment. Our boys were getting hyped up climbing on rocks and laughing. We were afraid they would fall, so we were attentive. Aidy be careful! Oh, Liam get down from there!
No one was injured. We noticed a Viking type sail boat off the shore. It had many people on it. They must have been checking the sunset out.
We sat there for 5-10 minutes. Aidy suddenly had to use the restroom, so we scurried to hope on our bikes and head home. Anyway, it seems that every sunset is different, and there is one every evening around here.
